Today, after breakfast, proceed to pick up your rental car on your own. It’s time to hit the road towards the beautiful Yarra Valley—an easy drive of less than an hour east of Melbourne.
As you journey through rolling hills lined with lush vineyards, you’ll be inspired to explore local wineries and enjoy wine tasting experiences.
En route, visit Healesville Sanctuary, where you can also stop at local farm gates to pick up fresh produce and enjoy a relaxing picnic amidst the natural Australian bush setting. Here, you may encounter unique wildlife such as the Tasmanian Devil, kangaroos with joeys in their pouches, and even the fascinating platypus at Tales From Platypus Creek—making it a paradise for nature lovers and photographers.

This morning, pick up your self-drive car and begin your journey to Phillip Island—a favourite destination for nature lovers.
En route, we suggest a stop at the Puffing Billy Steam Railway, where you can enjoy a ride on the historic steam train through scenic landscapes.
Phillip Island is renowned as the home of the Little (Fairy) Penguins. At dusk, these adorable creatures return from the sea to their burrows, delighting visitors as they waddle past the viewing areas.
The island also features a rich wildlife reserve, where you may spot koalas, fur seals, pelicans, mutton-birds, and various seabirds.
Later, you may drive to Cowes Jetty to board your Phillip Island Seal Cruise. This spectacular 2-hour coastal cruise offers a thrilling opportunity to get up close with thousands of seals at Australia’s largest fur seal colony.
Ensure you arrive at least one hour before sunset to witness the world-famous Penguin Parade—an unforgettable experience as the Little Penguins return to shore after a day at sea.

Phillip Island – Visit Churchill Island & Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit
This morning, we suggest visiting Churchill Island, where you can explore historic grounds and experience traditional farming life. The beautifully maintained Victorian gardens reflect the island’s rich heritage and offer a peaceful setting to stroll through.
You can also visit the local farm and take part in heritage farming activities such as sheep shearing, working dog demonstrations, cow milking, and whip cracking.
Later, return to Phillip Island. In the afternoon, proceed to visit the Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit. Here, you can enjoy an exciting go-karting experience on a track inspired by the world-renowned racing circuit.
The rest of the day is at leisure for you to relax or explore at your own pace.

Philip Islands – Mornington Peninsula (1 Nights)
This morning, we suggest visiting the Koala Conservation Reserve, where you can come face-to-face with koalas from elevated treetop boardwalks in their natural habitat.
Later, continue your scenic drive along the coastline to the picturesque Mornington Peninsula. Known for its stunning landscapes, the region also offers excellent restaurants, fine regional wines, and fresh local produce.
Visit Sunny Ridge Strawberry Farm, where you can indulge in delicious strawberry treats such as ice cream, jams, and scones with cream. From November to April, you can even enjoy picking your own strawberries straight from the fields.
You may also explore Ashcombe Maze and Lavender Gardens—home to Australia’s oldest hedge maze. This impressive maze, made up of over 1,000 cypress trees and standing more than three metres high, offers both a fun challenge and a delightful walk. The gardens also feature a circular rose maze with over 1,200 rose bushes representing 200+ varieties, along with beautifully scented lavender fields showcasing more than 40 types.
End your day with a relaxing soak at the Peninsula Hot Springs—the only natural thermal mineral springs bathing facility in Australia, offering a perfect setting to unwind and rejuvenate.
