Day 1

Date : August 31, 2026

Arrival at Copenhagen (1 Night)

As your much-awaited journey with Aneesh Holidays begins, here’s how your first day will unfold based on your departure city:

Guests Departing from Mumbai (Scheduled Group Departure)

Guests opting for the Mumbai-to-Mumbai tour will assemble at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, Mumbai, approximately four hours prior to the scheduled flight departure time. From here, you will travel together with the Aneesh Holidays Tour Manager to Copenhagen, the charming Danish capital known for its fairy-tale atmosphere, marking the beginning of your memorable journey. Upon arrival, the Tour Manager will assist you with all airport formalities and ensure a smooth transfer to the hotel or proceed with sightseeing as per the itinerary.

Guests Joining from Other Indian Cities

If you are traveling from cities such as New Delhi, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, or others, please ensure that you have received complete travel details—including airline information, flight timings, airport details, passport, and valid visa—from your Aneesh Holidays Travel Advisor. You will arrive at the first destination as per your individual flight schedule. Upon arrival, the Tour Manager will meet you at Copenhagen Airport or at the designated sightseeing location shared in advance.

Joining & Leaving (J&L) Guests – From India or Abroad

Guests joining the tour independently from India or overseas are requested to ensure they have received complete guidance regarding arrival, hotel check-in, or joining point details from the Tour Manager and Travel Advisor. The Tour Manager will meet you directly at the first destination as per the confirmed tour plan.

Important Notes:
For Joining & Leaving guests, flight tickets, visa, insurance, and airport transfers are to be arranged and borne by the guest.
To avail group airport transfers, arrival must be at the designated group airport at least one hour prior to the group’s scheduled arrival time.
On the final day, departure flights should be scheduled after the group’s departure time to avail transfer services.
Standard hotel check-in time is 3:00 PM (15:00 hrs) or later. If flights arrive in the morning, one sightseeing activity may be arranged to utilize the waiting time.
Please ensure safe custody of travel documents, valuables, foreign exchange, and emergency contacts throughout the journey.

Day 2

Copenhagen – Kangerlussuaq – Point 660 Ice Sheet tour – Kangerlussuaq (1 Night)

Today, we fly to Kangerlussuaq, a remarkable Arctic region known for its dramatic landscapes and one of the most accessible gateways to the vast Greenland Ice Sheet.

Upon arrival, we begin an extraordinary adventure with the Point 660 Greenland Ice Sheet excursion. As we travel through the rugged Arctic terrain, our expert guide will share fascinating insights into Kangerlussuaq’s unique climate, glacial formations, and Arctic wildlife. Keep your eyes open along the way, as this route is known for frequent sightings of musk oxen, graceful reindeer, Arctic hares, and the elusive Arctic fox.

At Point 660, we begin a guided walk along a specially prepared trail through glacial moraine before stepping onto the magnificent Greenland Ice Sheet itself. Here, you will have ample time to explore carefully, capture stunning photographs, and experience the pure stillness of the Arctic environment while surrounded by one of the largest ice formations on Earth.

After this unforgettable encounter, we return to Kangerlussuaq via the same scenic route.

In the evening, prepare for another magical experience as we set out in search of the Northern Lights. With minimal light pollution, Kangerlussuaq offers excellent conditions for aurora viewing. If the skies are clear and conditions are favorable, you may witness the breathtaking Aurora Borealis—dancing ribbons and waves of green and violet light illuminating the Arctic night sky.

Day 3

Kangerlussuaq – Ilulissat (3 Nights)

Today, we fly to Ilulissat, also known as Jakobshavn or Jacobshavn, the municipal seat and largest town in the Avannaata municipality in western Greenland. Located near the world-famous Ilulissat Icefjord, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the town is renowned for its dramatic Arctic landscapes and floating icebergs.

Upon arrival, we check in to the hotel and relax after the journey, surrounded by the breathtaking Arctic scenery.

Day 4

Ilulissat

Today morning, we embark on a walking tour of Ilulissat. We begin with photo stops at the historic Zion Church, the local fish market, and the bustling harbour, offering a glimpse into everyday life in this Arctic town.

We then proceed to the Icefjord Viewpoint, one of the most breathtaking locations in Greenland. The scenic trail offers spectacular panoramic views of the Ilulissat Icefjord, where massive icebergs slowly drift through the waters before entering the open sea. The sight of these brilliant white formations glistening under the Arctic sun, along with the distant sound of cracking ice, creates a truly magical atmosphere.

Next, we visit the Icefjord Centre, an architectural masterpiece seamlessly integrated with the surrounding landscape. This informative centre serves as both a museum and learning space, providing fascinating insights into the history, science, and climate significance of the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Icefjord.

Later, we set out on an unforgettable fjord exploration boat ride—one of the highlights of our journey. As we cruise through the icy waters, we come close to towering icebergs of extraordinary shapes and sizes, some resembling floating ice mountains. The changing light over the ice, from deep blues to radiant whites, creates a mesmerizing natural spectacle. Keep your cameras ready, as this experience is highly photogenic. If luck permits, you may also spot resting seals or Arctic birds soaring overhead.

Day 5

Ilulissat – Eqi Glacier – Ilulissat

Today, we set out for an unforgettable full-day excursion to the magnificent Eqi Glacier. As we sail through the tranquil Arctic waters, keep your cameras ready—every moment along the way reveals something truly magical.
During the journey, we pass small, charming settlements that offer a rare glimpse into traditional Greenlandic life. The landscape transforms beautifully as cascading waterfalls, rugged cliffs, and steep mountain slopes accompany us throughout the cruise.
The true highlights of the day are the majestic icebergs, naturally sculpted into extraordinary forms and glowing in stunning shades of blue and white.
Upon arrival at the Eqi Glacier, we enjoy a packed lunch right in front of the towering ice wall, soaking in the awe-inspiring presence of this massive and slowly calving glacier.
Later, we begin our scenic return journey back to Ilulissat, carrying with us unforgettable memories and breathtaking views from this extraordinary Arctic experience.

Day 6

Ilulissat – Nuuk (2 Nights)

Today, we fly to Nuuk, the charming capital of Greenland, beautifully nestled between dramatic mountains and shimmering fjords.

In the evening, prepare for a truly magical experience as we set out on a cruise into the crisp Arctic night in search of the mesmerizing Northern Lights.

As our boat gently glides across the dark, glassy waters, you will be surrounded by the serene beauty of Greenland’s winter landscape. Moving deeper into the Arctic darkness, keep your eyes on the sky—at any moment, the Aurora Borealis may appear, painting the night in enchanting shades of green, violet, and even pink. The reflection of these dancing lights on the icy fjords creates an atmosphere that feels truly otherworldly.

Day 7

Nuuk

Today, we visit the Greenland National Museum, one of the country’s most important cultural institutions. The museum beautifully showcases Greenland’s rich history and Inuit heritage through its fascinating exhibits. Here, we get a glimpse of traditional kayaks, ancient tools, and the world-famous Qilakitsoq mummies—extraordinarily well-preserved remains dating back over 500 years, offering deep insight into the lives of early Greenlandic people.

We then proceed to the Old Harbor (Kolonihavnen), a charming waterfront area known for its colorful colonial buildings. Once the heart of trade and fishing in Nuuk, it now stands as one of the city’s most picturesque locations. We enjoy a leisurely stroll along the vibrant harbor, soaking in its unique Arctic charm.

In the evening, we set out once again on a special night bus tour in search of the magical Northern Lights, hoping to witness the sky come alive with shimmering waves of color dancing above Greenland’s winter landscape.

Today, we fly to Copenhagen, the charming capital of Denmark known for its fairy-tale atmosphere, colorful harbors, and rich Nordic heritage.

Upon arrival, we proceed to the hotel and enjoy some free time to relax, unwind, and settle in after the journey.

Group Guests

Guests travelling on the scheduled group flight will proceed to the airport as per the designated departure time.

Joining & Leaving (J&L) Guests

J&L guests will proceed to the airport after the scheduled group tour concludes. If your flight timing and airport match the group arrangement, you may avail the group airport transfer. Otherwise, the cost of reaching the airport, cruise terminal, railway station, or bus terminal will be borne by the guest.

  • TCS of 2% applicable on GST-inclusive price w.e.f. 1st April 2026
