Day 1

Arrival at Shanghai (3 Nights)
Your much-awaited journey with Aneesh Holiday’s begins here! Here’s how your first day will unfold based on your departure city:
Guests Departing from Mumbai (Scheduled Group Departure)
Guests who have opted for the Mumbai-to-Mumbai tour will assemble at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, Mumbai, at least four hours before the scheduled flight departure. From here, you will travel together with the Aneesh Holiday’s Tour Manager to Shanghai—a vibrant global financial hub often called the “Oriental Paris” located on China’s central coast—and begin your exciting journey.
Upon arrival, the Tour Manager will assist you with airport formalities and ensure a smooth transfer to the hotel or the first sightseeing point as per the itinerary.
Guests Joining from Other Indian Cities
If you are traveling from cities like New Delhi, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, or others, please ensure you have received complete travel details such as airline information, flight timings, airport details, passport, and valid visa from your Aneesh Holiday’s Travel Advisor. You will travel to the first destination as per your individual booking. Upon arrival, the Tour Manager will meet you at Shanghai Airport or at the designated sightseeing location shared in advance.
Joining & Leaving (J&L) Guests – From India or Anywhere in the World
Guests joining independently from India or overseas should ensure proper coordination for smooth arrival, hotel check-in, or joining at the sightseeing point. Your Aneesh Holiday’s Travel Advisor and Tour Manager will guide you throughout the journey. The Tour Manager will meet you directly at the first destination as per the planned itinerary.
Important Notes:
For Joining & Leaving guests, flight tickets, visa, insurance, and airport transfers are not included and must be arranged at your own cost. To avail group airport transfers, your arrival must be at the same airport and at least one hour prior to the group’s scheduled arrival time. On the last day, your departure should be scheduled after the group’s flight to use the transfer facility.
Day 2
Date : August 21, 2026

Shanghai
Today, we proceed to Zhujiajiao Water Town, an ancient water town also known as the “Pearl Stream,” famous for its traditional architecture and historic bridges built during the Ming and Qing dynasties.
Upon arrival, we enjoy a relaxing boat ride through the scenic waterways and experience the charm of this “Venice of Shanghai.”
Later, we return to Shanghai. Upon arrival, we visit Longhua Temple and Pagoda—the oldest and one of the largest temples in Shanghai, originally built in 242 AD. The complex features several halls along with the historic Bell Tower and Drum Tower.
Day 3
Date : August 22, 2026

Shanghai
Today, we visit Shanghai Zoo, one of the most beautiful attractions in the city, divided into five major sections: Primates, Carnivores, Herbivores, Birds, and Amphibians. Here, we can see rare animals native to China such as golden monkeys, South China tigers, giant pandas, Manchurian tigers, elks, and Yangtze alligators.
Later, we explore Shanghai city and visit the Jade Buddha Temple, a sacred place built to house two jade Buddha statues brought from Burma by a monk named Huigen.
In the evening, we enjoy the spectacular Shanghai Circus, featuring thrilling acrobatics, dance, and musical performances.
After the show, we have free time for shopping.
Day 4

Shanghai – Xi’an (2 Nights)
Today, we fly to Xi’an, a historic city that once marked the terminal point of the ancient Silk Road and is famously home to the 3rd-century BC Terracotta Army built for Emperor Qin Shi Huang.
In the evening, we enjoy the spectacular Tang Dynasty Music and Dance Show. This captivating performance takes us on a journey back to the golden era of the Tang Dynasty in Chang’an, brought alive through expressive dance, storytelling, and singing, accompanied by a traditional live orchestra.
The show is a true visual delight, reflecting the grandeur and cultural richness that once spread along the Silk Road.
Day 5

Xi’an
Today, we proceed to visit the Museum of Qin Terra-Cotta Warriors and Horses. Here, we witness the world-famous Terracotta Army—one of the most significant archaeological discoveries of the 20th century. The life-size terracotta soldiers and horses, arranged in battle formations, showcase the grandeur and military strength of ancient China, representing the imperial guard of Emperor Qin Shi Huang.
Later, we drive back to Xi’an and continue exploring the city. We visit the ancient City Wall, a well-preserved structure stretching 13.7 km with a height of around 12 meters, standing as a remarkable historical treasure.
We also see the Bell Tower, originally built to alert the city during enemy attacks, and the Drum Tower, its counterpart, constructed in 1380 during the Ming Dynasty and now serving as a museum.
Finally, we visit the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda, built by the monk Xuanzang after his return from India, where he translated and taught Buddhist scriptures.
Day 6

Xi’an – Beijing (3 Nights)
Today, we take a bullet train ride to Beijing, the capital city of China, known for its magnificent palaces, temples, parks, and gardens. Upon arrival, we begin our exploration of Beijing city.
We visit the Temple of Heaven, a grand religious complex located in the old outer city of Beijing. It is considered a masterpiece of traditional Chinese architecture, designed on the belief that heaven is round and earth is square.
We also take a photo stop at Tiananmen Square, the cultural heart of Beijing. Later, we visit the Forbidden City, an imperial palace complex built following traditional Chinese feng shui principles. Inside this historic walled complex, we explore highlights such as the Wu Gate, the Hall of Supreme Harmony, and the Imperial Garden.
Day 7

Beijing – Great Wall of China – Beijing
Today, we proceed to the northern part of Beijing to visit one of the Seven Wonders of the World—the Great Wall of China, one of the greatest construction achievements of the ancient world.
We arrive at Mutianyu and take an enclosed cable car ride up to the hilltop. Once at the top, we get the opportunity to walk along this iconic landmark and admire its breathtaking views.
Later, we drive back to Beijing. On the way to the hotel, we take a photo stop at the Beijing National Stadium, also known as the Bird’s Nest, famously built for the 2008 Summer Olympics.
Day 8
Date : August 27, 2026

Beijing
Today, we drive to Yuyuantan Park, one of the major urban parks in Beijing, home to around 3,000 cherry trees and famous for its beautiful Cherry Blossom Festival held every spring.
Later, we visit the Summer Palace, a magnificent imperial garden built during the Qing Dynasty. Inspired by Hangzhou’s West Lake and southern Chinese garden traditions, it features Longevity Hill and Kunming Lake, forming a vast and scenic landscape garden.
We then visit a Jade Factory, where we witness live demonstrations of how jade is carved and transformed into beautiful art pieces and jewellery.
In the evening, you will have free time for shopping.
Day 9

**Group Guests:**
Guests traveling on the scheduled group flight will proceed to the airport as per the group departure time.
**Joining & Leaving (J&L) Guests:**
J&L guests will proceed to the airport after the tour concludes. If their flight timing and airport match the group schedule, they may join the group transfer. Otherwise, the cost of travel to the airport, railway station, cruise terminal, or bus terminal will be borne by the guest.

Government tax (GST) of 5% will be applicable over and above the tour cost mentioned.
TCS (Tax Collected at Source) as per current rules:
- 5% or 10% TCS on tour cost up to ₹10 lakhs (depending on PAN–Aadhaar status)
- 20% TCS on the amount above ₹10 lakhs (on GST-inclusive value), effective from 1st April 2025
- 10% TCS applies if PAN is not linked with Aadhaar (PAN status marked inoperative as per Income Tax rules)
- TCS is applicable only for packaged tours
- Additional TCS rate (5% or 10%) depends on the PAN status of the primary booking contact
- If valid TAN details are provided at the time of booking, TCS will not be applicable
